Accomodations
During the Missouri Southern Zone Duck Season, we will be basing our hunts
out of the Days Inn at Kennett, Missouri. Information on this motel is
available on the Links
page.
My snow goose hunts are based at Sikeston, Missouri. It is at
the junction of Interstate 55 and Interstate 57 / US 60. It is a 2
1/2 hour drive south of the St. Louis airport. There are several
national motel chains that have rooms at a reasonable price. I
usually use the Country Hearth Inn off the I-55 exit #67 (Miner).
Rooms are $50 for double and they allow dogs in-crate for a $5/night
fee.
Sikeston has several great restaurants, including
the nationally acclaimed Lambert's -- the Home of Throwed Rolls.
Lambert's is one block from the Country Hearth Inn.
There is a 24-hour Wal-Mart which offers licenses at
any hour, groceries, sporting goods, etc.
Should I set up your hunt in a different area, I
will make all arrangements well ahead of time. Let me know if you
have a preference in lodging or such and I will be glad to make all
arrangements.
My goal is to put on the best possible hunt for you.
