My snow goose hunts are based at Sikeston, Missouri.  It is at the junction of Interstate 55 and Interstate 57 / US 60.  It is a 2 1/2 hour drive south of the St. Louis airport.  There are several national motel chains that have rooms at a reasonable price.  I usually use the Super 8 Motel off the I-55 exit #67 (Miner).  Rooms are around $50 for double and they allow dogs.

Sikeston has several great restaurants, including the nationally acclaimed Lambert's -- the Home of Throwed Rolls.  Lambert's is a couple of blocks from the Super 8.

There is a 24-hour Wal-Mart which offers licenses at any hour, groceries, sporting goods, etc.

Should I set up your hunt in a different area, I will make all arrangements well ahead of time.  Let me know if you have a preference in lodging or such and I will be glad to make all arrangements.
